A Virginia woman is behind bars and awaiting court in December following her arrest in Jonesville Aug. 11.
Angel Fairbanks, 37, of Crockett, Va. was arrested Sunday on DWI, assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest charges.
Fairbanks drove her vehicle, a 2004 Chevy Tahoe, while impaired, according to a incident report with the Jonesville Police. She was arrested at the McDonald’s parking area in Jonesville.
The incident report lists her charges as misdemeanors: one count DWI, one count assault of an officer, and one count resist, delay or obstruct.
She was confined as of Aug. 11 in the Yadkin County Jail under a secured $1,500 bond. Her court date has been set for Dec. 4 in Yadkinville.
Her Tahoe was impounded at Country Motors.
