An Elkin pharmacy may have helped nab a suspect allegedly involved in a stolen prescription padding operation.
A warrant for arrest has been filed by the Elkin Police Department for Christopher Blaine Settle of Yadkinville after he allegedly used a false prescription to gain Alprazolam and Oxycodone, say police records.
Police say the prescription pad was reported stolen from a medical center in Huntersville, N.C.
According to the warrant, Settle used the stolen prescription at the Bridge Street Pharmacy in Elkin.
“We did issue two warrants on Christopher Blaine Settle. Both warrants were served by Dobson PD,” said Elkin Police Chief Monroe Wagoner.
The prescription padding investigation is ongoing.
