Elkin City Schools’ students, parents, staff and board members will be meeting with local and state elected officials on Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. to discuss educational ideas and issues.
The annual luncheon, serving meatloaf or chicken salad, will be held at Elkin High School’s media center and will allow local and state elected officials, Elkin City Schools Board of Education, and ECS educators to share their thoughts and insights on public school education based on current and future legislation.
Dr. Larry Price, Executive Director of North Carolina Association of School administration will be Friday’s guest speaker.
Lunch will be prepared by Elkin High School’s food and nutrition classes and will conclude with tours of the high school and middle school.
