The Arlington First Baptist Church in Jonesville is gearing up for its nativity drama presentation on Friday and Saturday.
The nativity drama consists of six scenes and is open for the community to attend. The drama is narrated by John Wishon, owner of 3WC Radio 1240 AM. The narration takes approximately 30-minutes to complete.
Every visitor will receive a treat.
“Christmas is all about the greatest gift of all- God’s gift to us - Jesus - and this is our gift to the community, a drama that will share the life story of our Savior, Jesus Christ from His birth through His resurrection,” said Pastor Michael Church. “We hope our yearly drama will become a part of your family’s Christmas tradition.”
The cast of the drama are members of the church, many of its youth are active participants in the drama too.
“It’s great to see so many of our church family members- children and adults- actively participating in this production,” said Youth Pastor Marty Nixon. “We are dedicated to making this drama a meaningful experience.”
The church is located on 345 South Main St. in Jonesville. The drama begins at 6:30 p.m. and will remain open until 9 p.m. each night.
The Arlington Fire Department volunteers will be directing traffic by Lewis Furniture (next to the fire department) off South Main Street in Jonesville for both nights of the performance.
Musical background (CD) for the drama are by The Wishons, David Phelps, 3rd Day, New Song, Twila Paris, and Chris Tomlin.
