It’s a new spin on an old world market at the Foothills Arts Council in Elkin this Dec. 7 and 8 for the Open Air Art Market. Local residents can browse through tents of artists for unique gifts to make this holiday season special.
The art show is just part of the fun. Attendees can make S’mores while listening to the live music of Not Your Ordinary, Time Sawyer, Casey Marshall, Luke Mears, Libby Haynes and Wyatt Smith.
Visitors may sip local vintages from Yadkin Valley wineries Elkin Creek, McRitchie and Carolina Heritage and have a bite to eat from the Heaven’s Scent food truck. Families may take their children upstairs to the Santa’s Craft Station and enjoy the “Home Is Where the Heart Is” quilt show in the main gallery. Others may buy your fresh greenery for creative decorating and to get in the holiday spirit.
