An armed robbery took place at the CVS in Yadkinville on Nov. 21 right before the store closed.
The suspect was caught on the store’s security cameras but officers have not been able to locate him yet.
A white male, weighing approximately 165 pounds and wearing a black jacket and hoody with his hood pulled up.
According to the security camera footage the man walked into the store and went straight to the pharmacy area at the back. Pharmacy staff said the man stated he had a gun and to give him what he wanted or he would shoot them. The man did not present the gun, according to Yadkinville Police Chief Tim Parks.
The suspect immediately left the store. The cameras were not able to capture what type of vehicle the suspect fled the scene in but he is considered armed and dangerous. No other details are available at this time.
Chief Parks said that officers will continue the investigation and release more details as information is processed.
