You won’t find dancing at Rhythm on Main this Tuesday, but inexpensive back-to-school clothing.
“I had not planned to do this consignment sale, but I had several parents calling to ask if we would put one on,” said organizer Dottie Jackson. “We put it together in less than three weeks and Will Shover donated his studio space at Rhythm on Main,” Jackson said.
The sale is to help parents clothe their children inexpensively for the upcoming school year.
Jackson also helped organize a consignment sale held in March at Elkin Elementary School to help out families during hard economic times.
“This a great way to make some extra money to buy all of your kids’ back to school needs,” she said. “We will have a special section with book bags, lunch boxes, gym bags and fall and winter clothing.”
The Back to School Children’s Consignment Sale will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, at Rhythm on Main Dance Studio in Elkin. Half off sale will begin at 8 p.m. and item drop off for the sale is Monday.
Items for sale:
